National Construction remodeled several areas of the clubhouse at TPC Wisconsin, a development formerly known as Cherokee Country Club. The clubhouse anchors an 18-hole golf course that was redesigned by PGA star Steve Stricker and Steve Wenzloff, Senior VP Design of the PGA. The approximately 13,000 square feet of renovations better reflect the club’s upscale image and the internationally elite status of its new golf course.
National’s work can be seen upon arrival. The front canopy columns are a combination of new structural steel columns and wood timbers, wrapped with metal studs and James Hardie siding to give them the look of wood without needing routine maintenance. The bottoms of the columns are clad in natural stone, and the wood timbers were stained to match the tongue-and-groove ceiling.
The improved second entrance, reception area, hallway and staircase have custom woodwork and stonework, flooring, paint, and fixtures.
National also remodeled the women’s and men’s locker rooms and lounges with new doors, wood lockers, cabinetry, flooring, countertops, tile and paint.
Finally, National remodeled the fitness area, installing a new ceiling and new flooring, modifying walls, and updating drywall, paint, and electrical.
